As an Apprentice Electrician you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed electrician to learn the trade. You will receive on-the-job training combined with classroom instruction.
Journeyman Electrician

After completing the apprenticeship, you'll become a certified journeyman electrician, qualified to work independently on a wide range of projects. You'll take on more complex tasks and begin to mentor newer apprentices. You will need to pass a Journeyman Electrician exam through our local municipality.

As a Lead Electrician you will take on significant supervisory, organizational, and project-level responsibilities that go beyond the Journeyman's typical scope. At this level you will need to qualify with the state as a Limited Classification or above. You can supervise journeymen and apprentices based on your license classification.

A Master Electrician is the highest level of certification. You will be qualified to supervise other electricians, pull permits, design entire electrical systems, and take on the most complex projects. You must have significant experience as a journeyman and pass an exam for a State-issued electrical contractor license.
